The Coat of Peace is conceived as the universal symbol of peace between people of all colors and religious beliefs, and between mankind, nature and the environment (see Concept). It is at the same time the symbol for the fight against terrorism and any other form of violence.

This powerfull sculpture, created by Anna Chromy in the form of the empty garment of a mother in sorrow, will from now on remind us that our future lies in our children, whatever their religion or color, and that it is the duty of everyone to participate in their protection from any harm or sufferings.

The ArchiSculpture will be located in Assisi, Italy, the home of Saint Francis. Saint Francis was not only a man of peace and love, but also a fervent defender of the environment and of all living creatures. Today, with the ever increasing destruction of the ecosystem, and thus the basis for life on earth, the Coat of Peace will act as a reminder to everyone that we are courting guaranteed disaster, unless we manage a complete turnaround in the last minute.

Read the official confirmation by Padre Vincenzo Coli, Custode della Patriarcale Basilica e Sacro Convento di San Francesco, Assisi.
